Hello Emanuele Families,
We have officially started the Fall Season and have completed our 6th week of school. We are looking forward to upcoming events this season. We want to update you on the crash that occurred on Shorty Garcia Park this past Thursday. We are glad to report that there were no injuries and that Union City Police and the City of Union City are working hard to repair the fence. Until then, the park is closed for general use and we will keep you updated for a completion time.
A few friendly reminders:
- School starts at 8:00 AM.
- Please be sure to be in the classroom at this point. Students are marked tardy after 8:00. After 8:10, students must get a tardy slip from the office. After 8:30AM, it gets marked as truancy.
- Minimum Day – Wednesday September 27th
- All students will be released at 12:05PM.
- Jog-A-Thon – October 4, 2023
- Do you want to throw a water balloon at your principals?! All you need is to raise at least $5.
- Please help support our school’s activities by donating to the Jog-A-Thon. Click this link to get to the donation page. As always, cash and check is always accepted.
- Emanuele Family Event: LatinX/Hispanic Art Showcase – Wednesday September 27th 4:00-5:30PM
- Emanuele students’ art is being showcased. Come to Studio 11 on 11th street and see their work. Celebrate LatinX/Hispanic Heritage month with art, games, and food.
