Hello EML families,
Today we celebrated the conclusion of our Character Strong Trait : Gratitude. This does not mean we stop being grateful, but that we build onto the learning we have displayed. Our next character trait is Empathy. The definition of Empathy is:
- Our ability to understand and share our feelings with one another.
As we work together to improve ourselves and the community around us, we need to gain a better understanding of where we all come from and the needs that we have. We will continue to work on these traits with each other.
A quick update on our Jog A Thon Shirts : They are in! We will pass out all shirts before the end of this week. We will let all families know when we will take our whole school picture out on the field, so it will be important to wear your shirt on the special day.
Aside from this, we have a few reminders below:
Reminders:
- Thanksgiving break is from Monday, November 21-25 and there is no school on these days.
- Minimum day on Wednesday, November 30. Dismissal is at 12:05.
